Boys Will Be Boys

This little family was a joy to photograph.  The two boys are super adorable! (No wonder, as they have a good looking set of parents!) 

Mom and dad have done great with them so far! They are little country gentlemen and I am sure they will be popular with the ladies when they get big enough to care.  

I mean, those boots, those little jeans, the matching plaid AND LITTLE TINY SUITS!!! 

It doesn't get much better than that, folks!

Eva is One

Eva's Mom and Dad were in our birthing class in 2012, and while we were getting ready for the arrival of our bundles of joy, we really enjoyed each other's company!

I was lucky enough to photograph the new family just a month or so after Eva arrived and I just got to catch up with them while I captured a few photos just a week before her 1st birthday ever!

Although Miss E was not super excited, as she had decided it was a no-nap kind of day, we had a good time exploring the amusement park and neighboring dog park.  (Eva loved seeing all the doggies, and made a new friend!) Turns out she thinks puppies are neater when they are at a distance.

Family Portraits - Yes Please!

As I have mentioned before, I LOVE taking family photos!  There is something so rewarding about capturing the moment in time for them to hold onto forever.  And, they are always fun, accompanied by lots of laughter and silliness.

This is a small grouping of a few families I had the pleasure of photographing this last year, and each one had something different, but all had lots of love!

{n} A family full of love and laughter

This family is near and dear to my heart.  Each and every one of them is a kind, thoughtful and truly good person.

Photographing families is so rewarding because I get to capture moments that will be part of their history forever.  I get to make photos for them to cherish and share for decades and generations to come.

But, enough of the mush.  These folks crack me up!  We had a great time at their family farm, where they have Scottish Highland cattle, a barn mural that amazes and back drops galore for this photographer to take advantage of!

Wintertime Families...

The holidays are such a special time of year!

My favorite things about winter are the sweets and treats, cozy fires, hot cocoa and candy canes, but most of all family time!

I had the opportunity to capture the holiday spirit in photographs for a few families and each was so special!

First was the Emch family with a busy two year old, a three month new little brother and two lovely parents... Getting to photograph some of their goofy and playful moments was the best!

Next is Miss Madison and her parents... Just shy of a year old, she is so independent and full of sugar and spice! Her personality was so mature for her age, and she is a model in the making for sure!

A Christmas tree farm was the perfect backdrop for this family!

These little girls are cute as can be and so photogenic!

Sisterhood is a special thing and these two were dressed to impress for the Christmas cards!

Little Mr. Owen...

 First I must say, "What a handsome little guy!".

I know that is somewhat cliche, but it is so true! He has these baby blues to die for and a silly little smile that just melts your heart! 

I haven't even mentioned his beautiful Mumma yet! Her and her little guy are photo perfect and a joy to around.  I was so glad to be able to photograph them and his 1st birthday party!

Grandad is a huge part of their life and really hung in there for the photos and they really turned out great!

Family Farm Time...

These parents are supermodels and their two daughters are adorable!

I loved taking these photos, as redundant as that seems... We found some horses, which put smiles all over Big Sister's face and made for a fun afternoon!

I can hardly wait to go photograph more families and hopefully some horses as well!
